Citizens of Ferriday: Mayor Allen, with the support of the Board of Alderman, has secured an emergency waste contract with Delta Disposal. Pick-ups are scheduled to begin on Thursday and proceed on Friday. Areas highlighted in yellow (South of Louisiana Ave. going towards Vidalia and Concordia Drive.) will be picked up on Thursdays, areas highlighted in pink (North of Louisiana Ave. going towards Clayton) will be picked up on Friday. We ask that residents supply their own garbage cans. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that this unfortunate situation has caused the citizens of the Town of Ferriday.
